Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Bears came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

The cost of the All reach is exactly the players who went right after him. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

They banked enough surplus on Bishop to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
