The board owed the Seahawks one, and it paid up: Kobe King, the No. 125 name on the board, sitting there at pick No. 184 like a gift left on the doorstep. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

Reaching for Colby left real value on the table behind him. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
