Campbell should have been long gone. The Eagles pounced, and earned a B.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Jihaad Campbell tumbling to the Eagles in No. 64 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Every board in the league had Nelson lower, and that gap is the story.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
