The phones sank the Bengals this weekend: D-.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Bengals shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. Put together, it is a D-.

The linebacker hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Reiman reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. The Simpson value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with cornerback the one that mattered most.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, linebacker very much included.
