A costly weekend of dealing drags the Chiefs to a C-. The Chiefs clearly saw something nobody else did in Ryan Flournoy, taking him 66 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. It nets out a thoroughly average C-.
They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. The Hart pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at quarterback. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want.
They banked enough surplus on Colson to cover a lot of smaller sins.
Call it incomplete, and check back in a couple of seasons.
