The Bengals let Williams fall into their laps, and walked away with a D.

Every swap seemed to tilt away from the Bengals, and the value they bled adds up to real damage. The math is unkind, and the D follows.

The linebacker hole is the one line item this class does not answer. That is a running back worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

They will need Knox to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, linebacker very much included.
