You build a draft on nights like this. Nicholas Singleton had no business being available in Round 7, Pick 21, and the Patriots did the only sane thing and turned in the card. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

They will need Trapilo to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
