You build a draft on nights like this. Troy Fautanu had no business being available in pick 142, and the Giants did the only sane thing and turned in the card. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.

For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. Job largely done: safety settled and 5 of 9 of the wish list covered.

The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
