The Giants checked most of the boxes and earned a B.

Nobody else had Donovan Jackson anywhere near pick No. 102. The Giants did, by 76 spots, and that gap is the whole story. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

On value alone, Carter makes the weekend a net positive. Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster. Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
