You can hear the double-takes from here. The Giants took R.J. Oben at the Round 7 slot, roughly 121 spots before his name belonged. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Majors. Shedeur Sanders is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. The phones were where this weekend was really won.

The wide receiver hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.
