Thirty-one other rooms let Jaylan Ford slide, and the Giants were the ones holding the card at the 183rd overall pick. Highway robbery.

Leaving running back unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball. Nothing gained and nothing lost at the table.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
