The search is over. The Steelers handed the keys to Fernando Mendoza, and the whole operation now runs on his development. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

They will need Branch to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Getting Burks where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
