Everything else got attention, and tight end got none. That is a strange way for the Chiefs to leave a draft. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The cost of the Horsley reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

They went 5 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
