Larceny in the 217th overall pick lands the Patriots a B, Crenshaw-Dickson and all.

When a board-topper like Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson slides to pick 217, you do not overthink it, and the Patriots did not.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped safety, which is a strange place to end up. They will need Hamilton to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
