They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. J.J. McCarthy is the Vikings' quarterback, full stop.

The Abrams-Draine value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. They will answer for taking cornerback early while offensive lineman, wide receiver and other spots went begging.

The offensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They went 4 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
