You can hear the double-takes from here. The Steelers took Marques Sigle at the Round 7 slot, roughly 66 spots before his name belonged. The bottom line is a respectable B.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Mafah. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

They went 7 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. Quantity was the play, for better or worse.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
