Larceny in pick No. 95 lands the Eagles a D-, Pearsall and all. The trade table was where it all came apart. The Eagles shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. It grades a D-, and the process earned it.
The Eagles indulged a want in Wilson while a need in quarterback stayed open. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. They banked enough surplus on Pearsall to cover a lot of smaller sins.
The veteran additions, Breece Hall chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.
Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
