Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Bears spent Round 6, Pick 7 on Carson Steele, a name the board had a full 44 spots lower. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

The Wilson value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman. They went 4 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
