The Titans won the night they stopped Mondon Jr. from sliding. Grade: B.

Somebody in the 167th pick was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Titans sat still while Smael Mondon Jr., the No. 42 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

They will need Brown to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.

The skill positions did well by the weekend.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
