The rest of the league will want that one back. Jordan James tumbling to the Browns in the Round 7 slot is a gift they did not have to think twice about.

Everything downstream of Cam Ward depends on Cam Ward, and the building knows it. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up. Job largely done: quarterback settled and 8 of 9 of the wish list covered.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
