The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Bears spent their marquee pick on Drake Maye, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Mitchell pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

The Bears paired the rookies with proven help, Jonathan Allen leading the way.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
