You build a draft on nights like this. Mike Sainristil had no business being available in the Round 5 slot, and the Steelers did the only sane thing and turned in the card. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B+.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The cost of the Lloyd reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
