The Bills did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B-.

The Bills spent real capital to be 30 picks early on JD Bertrand, and the board is going to hold them to it. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The Solomon pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at edge rusher, running back and other spots. They went 6 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Their trades came out a wash either way.
