Nobody else had Eric Gentry anywhere near Round 7, Pick 35. The Colts did, by 92 spots, and that gap is the whole story. No fireworks, but a solid B.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. That Jackson Jr. pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

The wide receiver hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Adding Roquan Smith by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
