The Colts torched the value chart for Kaytron Allen, taking him 64 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. On value alone, Thornton Jr. makes the weekend a net positive. They went 5 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
