A sensible, unshowy class lands the Colts a B-.

Nobody had Cody Schrader this high, and it is not close. The Colts reached 61 spots to get him at Round 5, Pick 15.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Green steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

They went 5 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
