A costly weekend of dealing drags the Colts to a D+.

Nobody else had Tanor Bortolini anywhere near the 151st pick. The Colts did, by 37 spots, and that gap is the whole story. Too much went sideways, and the D+ is the honest tally.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
