You can draft well and still miss the point. The Colts did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to quarterback, which was the need that mattered most. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

The Jackson value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. If Robinson pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
