The Colts went off the board in a big way for Tanor Bortolini, 36 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another.

Bullard at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
