Draft Grade — Colts
Overall C+
ValueB NeedB TradesB FutureD
The jury is out on the Colts. For now, C+.

The Devin Culp pick is the one that will follow the Colts into the fall. They took him 43 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. A mixed bag that lands at C+.

Getting Bishop where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

It is a win-now wager, and the future is the stake.

Hit on Brock Bowers and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.

Pick Analysis
Pick15 Rnd1 Brock Bowers
Brock Bowers slid further than he should have, and pick No. 15 is lovely value for the tight end. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick16 Rnd1 Dallas Turner
In the Round 1 slot they get a problem off the edge. A real need, handled.
Pick46 Rnd2 Mike Sainristil
No edge and no loss on Mike Sainristil in Round 2, Pick 14; it is a wash and a sensible one. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick117 Rnd4 Cole Bishop
The board fumbled Cole Bishop all the way to No. 117, and they scooped it up. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick191 Rnd6 Ryan Flournoy
Ryan Flournoy in the 191st overall pick is exactly on the number, no argument either way. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick234 Rnd7 Devin Culp
Value said wait; Devin Culp in pick 234 says they were not listening. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
