Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Joe Milton III at the Round 5 slot is 40 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They banked enough surplus on Williams to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
