The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Colts watched Chau Smith-Wade slide 35 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

If McLachlan pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

The offense got the lion's share of the attention.
