The Eagles won the night they stopped Walker from sliding. Grade: B-. Whoever sat across the table from the Eagles should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend.
Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Walker. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.
If Briningstool pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
