There is a lot to like until you notice interior defensive lineman is still a hole. The Bears never got to the one that mattered most.

Parker II has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
