The Bengals spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Dillon Thieneman, the No. 49 name on the board, in the 72nd pick. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They will answer for taking safety early while cornerback, offensive lineman and other spots went begging.

Jackson Jr. has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
