The Bengals cashed the board's mistake on Royals: A-.

Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Jalen Royals got past him. The Bengals do not have to explain a thing at slot 97. The sum of the weekend is a deserved A-.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. A whole weekend of picks and linebacker is somehow still a want.

They will need Gregory to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

It is a haul that will look even better come September.
