Trapilo should have been long gone. The Bengals pounced, and earned a A-.

The Bengals did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Ozzy Trapilo fell into No. 128. The sum of the weekend is a deserved A-.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. They will answer for taking edge rusher early while linebacker and quarterback went begging.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up. The Ritzie pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

Bottom line, they did the job about as well as it can be done.
