The Bengals let Nelson fall into their laps, and walked away with a B. Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Jack Nelson got past him. The Bengals do not have to explain a thing at the Round 7 slot.
The Rucker pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. With linebacker and quarterback unsolved, spending premium capital on edge rusher is the choice that costs them. The linebacker spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but linebacker.
