Starks should have been long gone. The Commanders pounced, and earned a D+.

Every swap seemed to tilt away from the Commanders, and the value they bled adds up to real damage. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D+.

It is not that Mukuba is a bad player; it is that the Commanders had louder needs to answer first. The Powell-Ryland reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. They banked enough surplus on Starks to cover a lot of smaller sins.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
