The rest of the league will want that one back. Howard Cross III tumbling to the Bengals in slot 246 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

They will regret leaving wide receiver for another day if the season turns on it. If Lampkin pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
