Nobody dealt better than the Bengals this weekend: B+.

The trade table was a mismatch, and the Bengals were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B+.

The Johnson value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. Reaching for Gadsden II left real value on the table behind him. They will answer for taking edge rusher early while linebacker and quarterback went begging.

They punted on linebacker, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but linebacker.
