The Bengals let Egbuka fall into their laps, and walked away with a A-.

The board owed the Bengals one, and it paid up: Emeka Egbuka, the No. 28 name on the board, sitting there at the 65th overall pick like a gift left on the doorstep.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The cost of the Frazier reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

A strong weekend's work, and a rare one to find this little fault with.
