The Bengals let Trapilo fall and pounced. Final grade: A-.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Ozzy Trapilo tumbling to the Bengals in Round 4, Pick 17 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. Just about everything broke right, and the A- follows.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. Simpkins III has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The Bengals clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

The kind of weekend a front office frames and hangs on the wall.
