The Commanders let Burks fall and pounced. Final grade: D+.

The phones were a trap the Commanders kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal.

They will need Zuhn III to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Burks pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and edge rusher is still a hole.

A top-tier linebacker at a bargain, Anthony Hill Jr. in the Round 3 slot, plain and simple. It adds depth where they could use a little.

A clean, defensible pick in the 80th pick with a little surplus value in Mike Washington Jr.. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.

The board had Logan Jones higher than the 108th overall pick, and the offensive lineman fell to them anyway. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.

They barely believed it either: Deion Burks still on the board at pick 115. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
