The Ravens lost the trade table, and the D- tells the story.

Nobody else had Sam Hartman anywhere near pick No. 236. The Ravens did, by 31 spots, and that gap is the whole story. It grades a D-, and the process earned it.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. They will answer for taking defensive back early while cornerback, interior defensive lineman and other spots went begging. That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

On value alone, Hopper makes the weekend a net positive.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and cornerback is still a hole.
