The Commanders robbed the room for McMillan. Final grade: A.

When a board-topper like Jalen McMillan slides to the Round 4 slot, you do not overthink it, and the Commanders did not. A near-flawless weekend of work, and a A to cap it.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. Taylor has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

It is a haul that will look even better come September.

In the 27th pick they get a plug-and-play piece up front, outstanding value to boot. The biggest hole, addressed.

J.J. McCarthy in the Round 2 slot lands just on the right side of the ledger. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick67 Rnd3 Tyler Guyton
Tyler Guyton in the 67th overall pick should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.

Braden Fiske slid further than he should have, and slot 90 is lovely value for the interior defensive lineman. The roster fit checks out.

Mike Sainristil in pick No. 91 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
