McCarthy is the Bears' new face under center. Grade: B.

The Bears spent the pick that matters most on J.J. McCarthy, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape.

The King steal is the beam this whole class leans on. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. If Eboigbe pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

A whole weekend of picks and linebacker is somehow still a want.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
