Sanders should have been long gone. The Commanders pounced, and earned a B+.

Somebody in the Round 7 slot was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Commanders sat still while T.J. Sanders, the No. 40 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. They moved the roster forward and banked a B+ for it.

They will regret leaving offensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.

They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
