Draft Grade — Falcons
Overall D-
ValueB NeedA- TradesF FutureD+
A franchise passer in Williams headlines a D- weekend for the Falcons.

Every swap seemed to tilt away from the Falcons, and the value they bled adds up to real damage. A D- that will need time and luck to look better.

The whole projection now runs through Caleb Williams; hit there and everything else looks smarter. The cost of the Harrell reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman. On value alone, Worthy makes the weekend a net positive.

The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and interior defensive lineman is still a hole.

Pick Analysis
Pick1 Rnd1 Caleb Williams
No drama and no debate, Caleb Williams went about where he belonged in slot 1. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick50 Rnd2 Jordan Morgan
The board had Jordan Morgan higher than No. 50, and the offensive lineman fell to them anyway. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick75 Rnd3 Xavier Worthy
Xavier Worthy at Round 3, Pick 11 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick110 Rnd4 Brenden Rice
Brenden Rice at pick No. 110 is money in the bank, a wide receiver taken below his worth. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick142 Rnd5 Nehemiah Pritchett
Nice patience on Nehemiah Pritchett, who had no business lasting to pick 142. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick199 Rnd6 Jaylen Harrell
They reached into another round for Jaylen Harrell, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. It fills a real need, too.
