Thirty-one other rooms let Braelon Allen slide, and the Ravens were the ones holding the card at pick No. 218. Highway robbery. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
